An employee was in the process of dropping a 10-millimeter wire cable spooled up in a wind turbine's nacelle and lowering it approximately 300 feet down the turbine's tower. There are four total cables to be dropped down, each weighing 90 pounds. As the technician was lowering one of the cables, it became tangled. Trying to untangle the cable, the technician's hand and wrist got caught in the wire cable, resulting in a broken wrist and torn skin around the wrist and hand.
