Between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. on March 9, 2022, a maintenance employee was working on the pulley of a conveyor belt system for fertilizer bags. The employee was trying to wipe grease off the belt when the pulley grabbed the employee's rag and pulled in the employee's fingers. The employee suffered amputations to the left index fingertip and the tips of all four fingers on the right hand.
