Final narrative
An employee had just finished moving a part with an overhead bridge crane and was beginning to move the crane out of the work area. He removed the hooks and chains from the part and began to lift the crane out and away from work area. As the hoist chain was moving upward, the chain hook caught the edge of the part. As the employee tried to keep it from falling over, it fell on his leg and pinned him to the ground. He suffered pain and swelling and was hospitalized.
