Final narrative

An employee was preparing to enter the riverboat from the dock area utilizing the gangway to remove film equipment from the ship's upper deck. The employee crossed the gangway midway, and the structure collapsed causing the employee to fall approximately 20 feet striking the dock/boat railing and landing in the water below. The employee incurred a broken humerus bone, several fractures in the right hand, a broken tailbone, and lacerations and abrasions on various parts of the body.
