A temporary employee was responding to a report of moisture on a roll at the strip anneal line. The injured employee was using an absorbent pad to wipe the moisture on the rollers when the pad and employee's hand were pulled into the pinch roll. The employee sustained hand fractures and lacerations that required stitches.
