On November 11, 2022, an employee was replacing a sprocket and bearings on a shaft. The employee used a lathe in the maintenance shop to clean the shaft when their hand came in contact with a portion of the rotating equipment on the lathe. He sustained amputations of two fingers on his left hand and a finger fracture.
