Final narrative
An employee was climbing a ladder that was leaned against a wall to access a piece of HVAC equipment. The ladder slid out from under him, and he rode the ladder approximately 6-8 feet to the ground. The employee sustained fractures of the humerus, radius, knee cap, thumb, and nose.
