Final narrative
At 7:10 a.m. on January 24, 2023, an employee had just cleared a jam on an empty pallet conveyor and was walking back to the palletizer when he noticed that one of the chains conveying the empty pallets was not aligned on its track. The machine was paused; he picked up the chain about 8 inches from the sprocket with his left hand.
