Final narrative
An employee was taking the escalator up to the second floor and had their hand on the right railing of the escalator. A bearing in the railing broke, causing the railing to stop while the rest of the escalator kept moving. The employee then lost their balance and fell down the escalator, resulting in a lower back contusion, lacerations to the right lower leg and back of the head, abrasions, and shoulder pain.
