On March 16, 2023, an employee was working at a well site. The employee, wearing a fall harness, was being lifted off the rig floor with a winch line to close a valve. The winch line caught between a tubing board hinge and a derrick and pulled up, causing the employee to strike the tubing elevators and suffer a broken pelvis. The employee was hospitalized.
