A winch operator was preparing to load a chassis into a pipe (gel dispensing equipment) to connect the "mouse" attachment and pull jacket material over the mouse and fill nozzle. The rope assembly pulled the injured employee's hand into the pipe, pinching their hand between the end connector and the pipe nozzle. The employee sustained a puncture to the palm and an index finger fracture.
