An employee was trying to close a service drive rear door leading out of a hospital. When he tried to close it from the inside, it did not close entirely. He went outside and tried to pull the door the rest of the way down. His right ring finger was caught and pinched in a seam between door panels as the door came down. He suffered a partial amputation of the fingertip and fingernail.
