An employee was flipping a structural beam in the paint bay area so that it could be painted on the opposite side. The beam was sitting on a set of horses roughly 18 inches off the ground. When the employee used the overhead crane to pick up the steel beam, it flipped off the horses and onto his right foot. The employee's right big toe was amputated.
