An employee was operating an overhead crane to place raw material on top of another stack of raw material. Wooden 2x4s were placed to stabilize the material. One of the 2x4s snapped, causing the material to slide to the side and break a post off a steel rack. The post then struck the employee who was hospitalized with chest, leg, and head injuries.
