Final narrative
An employee had been collecting paperwork and preparing to begin a delivery. The employee was on the dock and began to descend to the ground using a grab bar and steps that are set into the wall of the dock. As the employee reached for the first step, the grab bar detached from the wall causing the employee to fall to the ground. The employee was hospitalized with injuries to the head and back.
