Final narrative
An employee was standing on an 8-foot step ladder while wrapping insulation around an air duct. As he pulled a section of insulation around, the momentum caused him to fall approximately 4 feet to the concrete floor below. The employee sustained a compression fracture of the L1 vertebra.
