On January 16, 2024, an employee was opening the door of a van in order to load it; the door was stuck due to ice build-up. As the employee was attempting to open the door, its handle broke off, causing the employee to slip on the ice and fall backward, striking their head on the ground. The employee was hospitalized with a brain bleed.
