An employee was restocking shelves with foam cups in a walk-in supply closet. While she was reaching over her head to place cups onto the top shelf, she fell backward and hit her head on the floor, resulting in an acute epidural hematoma, a hairline fracture to the back right of her head, and internal hemorrhaging.
