On June 6, 2024, at 2:30 PM, an employee was working in a catfish pond helping to transfer the fish from a pond being drained to a new pond, when his foot contacted a catfish. The catfish responded by "finning" the employee, causing a puncture wound to the top of his left foot. He was hospitalized for an infection.
