An employee was removing a jam in the counter ejector of a machine that prints, folds and glues corrugated box blanks to customer specifications. The counter ejector is the point where boxes are transferred from the machine onto an outtake conveyor. The employee's right little finger was caught while he attempted to reposition the counter ejector rails and the fingertip was amputated.
