An employee was cleaning in the mechanical room. He went to move a pump weighing 30 pounds from the concrete floor to a pallet so the floor could be swept. As he picked up the pump he felt pain in his back and so he put the unit down. He then fell and was unable to get up. The employee was hospitalized.
