Final narrative
An employee temporarily positioned two telehandler tires against a concrete K-rail to replace the broken pallet on which the tires were originally situated. Shortly thereafter, the employee was walking by and the tires fell from their vertical position to the ground and struck the employee's right leg above his ankle. The employee was hospitalized with a fractured tibia and fibula.
