An employee was standing on a ladder installing a fluorescent light bulb ballast when he contacted a live wire and received an electrical shock to his left hand, causing him to fall from the ladder to the floor. The employee was hospitalized with an electrical shock and burns to his left hand, as well as fractures to his right tibia and distal right radius.
