An employee was bringing red bags to use to clean out a patient's room that had been treated with an aerosolized solution for bed bugs. The employee's N95 mask was permeated by the aerosolized solution, causing the employee to sustain bronchospasms and an asthma attack. The employee was hospitalized to control the asthma.
