Final narrative
An employee was moving parts from a pallet on the forks of a forklift into the grain tank of a combine from inside the left side of the grain tank. The employee shifted his weight from the grain tank wall to the pallet and the pallet broke, causing him to fall from the top of the combine to the ground. The employee was hospitalized with lacerations to his back, right arm, and the right side of his torso, as well as fractures to his skull, neck, and pelvis. The pelvic fracture required surgery.
