An employee was feeding a water wagon using a hose in a canal. He picked up the hose and bees swarmed him. He ran to the inside of his tractor to avoid the bees, but the swarm followed him into the tractor cab, stinging his face, arms, neck, and torso. He sustained allergic reactions and swelling to multiple parts of the body, including inflammation in the throat, which caused difficulty breathing. The employee was hospitalized.
