An employee was driving a tractor pulling a sugarcane harvester on a flatbed trailer. While on the road, the harvester contacted an internet service line that was energized. The employee exited the tractor and climbed on the steps of the harvester to check for damage. The employee received an electrical shock causing him to fall from the steps of the harvester to the ground. The employee sustained electrical burns to the chest, back, and leg. He also sustained a laceration to the head and three broken ribs.
