An employee was on a 12-foot A-frame ladder to retrieve a filter sock that fell on top of an air line. While retrieving the filter sock, the air line broke loose and began whipping around, causing the employee to fall feet-first approximately 8 feet to the concrete floor. The employee suffered fractures to their pelvis, left ankle, and several ribs. and required surgery.
