An employee was operating a forklift and removing items from a freight truck's trailer. The trailer moved forward, causing the forklift to drop into the gap between the receiving dock and the rear of the trailer. The forklift tipped over and the overhead safety rack/roll cage struck the employee. The employee sustained broken ribs, a broken femur, and a forehead laceration.
