Two Saber Power Services employees were on an elevated work platform, disconnecting double conductor jumpers to run an optical ground wire down a structure. One of them was holding a personal protective ground that was disconnected from the double conductor jumper. As the other employee was disconnecting the ground cable from the structure, the first employee was shocked by induced voltage from a de-energized transmission line and sustained burns to the hands.
