What happened
Our team uses sanitizers from purell and soaps from Purell. Since i am in clinical area and in derect patient contact I have to use purell more than 4 times per patient. My skin condition changed to dermatitis (officially diagnosed by my PCP) since I use purell too often (per policies for infection conrol). My Primary care prescribed steriods to help but it doesn 't work since I have to perform my duties and follow protocols to clean my hand before and after each patient or performing any POCT testings in the nephrology department. My skin cracks and I have open wounds because of using purell
