Employee was working on the top slide on 87 DCM. Employee bent forward to grind in doing so the catwalk he was standing on slid backwards. Employee shifted his weight to adjust in doing so the catwalk slid forward and employee fell backwards into the pit. Contusion to the left arm and lower back. Employee received a prescription anti-inflammatory.
