What happened
As the PA handed back the suture needle I did not realize that it was not fully protected when I grabbed it from her. As I moved from the mayo stand to the back table to put my needle in the needle box I stuck myself with the needle on my left pointer finger. I immediately told my nurse. put my needle in the needle box.
