He was taking rail plates down
What happened
Employee fell while taking down rail plates. Employee removed the bottom plates first climbed up the ladder removed top plate went to step on edge of adjacent railcar and missed stepped and fell. As he fell he hit his back on the adjacent railcar and the plate that was in his right hand trapped his arm against the railcar hurting his wrist. The bridge plate hit is head just below his helmet causing a large bump.
