What happened
Operator advised they were moving a roll of barbed wire and think the barb punctured through the double layered leather glove to create a small injury to the right index finger. The operator was found to have gone home without alerting anyone to the incident. There was no visible injury to the finger caused by wire. No bleeding or evidence of puncture. The operator was treated for a suspected infection given antibiotics as a preventative measure. The swelling of the finger reduced within hours of the clinic visit.
