What happened

While employee was delivering a half keg to account they were rolling a 1 2 keg toward the drop zone. At this account the product is delivered and placed onto a spacer that is on the ground prepped for the keg. Employee was using both hands to roll the keg toward the spacer rather than lift and carry the employee states it is easier to roll it and is less strain. When attempting to place the keg on top of the spacer the spacer popped out from underneath the keg. Employee states they were talking to receiver at this point and after the spacer shifted they felt their left thumb pop. They immediately felt pain and said they seen swelling in their thumb. EE had 1 stop left for the day and figured to complete last stop before heading out for the weekend. EE reported injury upon returning and opted to see if injury got better over weekend.
