Mixer was assigned the task of making product in Kitchen Two (2) [REDACTED].

One of the tasks was to remove the wire seals from 55-gallon drums of Dijon Mustard (number 2498). The Mixer retrieved Lineman’s Pliers to remove the wire seals from the 55-gallon drums of Dijon Mustard. The Mixer cut the wire seal using his right hand and then attempted to pull remove the wire seal with his left hand. At this point the wire seal penetrated punctured the top of left thumb. Approximately ½ inch of the wire seal was stuck in his left thumb.
