Before the incident
attempting to level a partial pallet of material stacked on top of another pallet
What happened
On [REDACTED] a Shell Processor was attempting to level a partial pallet of material stacked on top of another pallet of material which was no longer level after several buckets had been removed. When EE pushed down the pallet a 5-gallon bucket of corepack shifted tipping forward and struck the tip of their finger causing a small cut around the finger’s cuticle. EE immediately informed lead and went to the nearest first aid kit. While performing first aid the individual wasn’t feeling well and sat down just prior to experiencing lightheadedness and fainted. Department personnel immediately went for assistance and found the WorkRight trainer in the Triage Room who arrived and observed employee for 15-20 minutes as well as helping with final first aid. During this observation period by WorkRight and Safety Manager EE indicated they had experienced this type of reaction after similar incidents outside of work.
