What happened
On [REDACTED] a Rework Grinder was utilizing a pencil grinder equipped with a burr processing a P N 13189 when they felt a foreign body enter their right eye. EE immediately reported the incident to leadership and sought first aid. After numerous attempts to flush the eyes with saline solution AMR was called to transport EE to the hospital for further medical attention. Operator returned from hospital with authorized Days away from work. They were wearing all PPE applicable to their job function no policy issues noted.
