Maintenance operator was replacing the broken mist collector unit on [REDACTED].

After getting the unit hung from the ceiling and electrically wired the maintenance operator wanted to check the rotation of the unit’s motor. The maintenance operator while using their right hand to hold the unit in place instructed another maintenance tech to quickly start stop the motor.

Abrasions to the operator 's fingertips on right hand

The torque from the motor caused the entire unit to rapidly start to spin all while the maintenance operator’s hand was still touching the unit.
