injured back while welding drain pan in [REDACTED]

While welding wrapping a drain pan in a [REDACTED] back I felt pain in my lower back It was subtle at first and gradually got worse as the day continued I notified my supervisor of the discomfort prior to leaving my shift. When I woke up for work on [REDACTED] I felt a sharp pain in my lower back causing me to lose my balance and fall. At that point I determined I couldn 't work that day safely As a result of that I made an appointment with my primary care provider. At that appointment I was diagnosed with a back spasm prescribed [REDACTED] and a sleep aid. When I returned to work on [REDACTED] I was instructed to go to Concentra to see their Medical team. While there I was diagnosed with a back spasm and lower lumbar strain. I was informed to continue my [REDACTED] regiment with [REDACTED] and to use muscle cream. As well as to stay active and not to crouch or stay bent over for more than 20 minutes at a time.
