What happened
A patient was brought in by the tribal police and was not very cooperative so security was also near by. Employee and coworker got patient to lay on the cart for x-rays. The room set up wasn 't adequate for the shoulder x-rays so employee attempted to move the cart around that the patient was on to get herself in better position to acquire her x-rays. The patient was uncooperative so it was a struggle to get what was needed despite coworker assistance and a positioning sponge. Employee was unaware she was using left knee as a leverage to move patient back and forth for the x-rays because of the stress of the situation until later that day and into the next day. At that time employee felt that she only strained the knee and with rest ice elevation and some oils ointments it would get better but it didn 't. After being in pain and having issues walking and sleeping employee decided they need to file a report.
