What happened
Employee was sweeping cleaning area and felt overheated and not well. The Safety team had the employee rest and provided water and hydration beverages. The safety team transported the employee to the company doctor where they referred him to hospital for dehydration. The employee was taken to the hospital where the employee was given an IV for hydration. After several hours the hospital held the employee overnight for observation only. On [REDACTED] @[REDACTED] the safety manager was notified that the employee’s electrolytes were still out of range and would be admitting him overnight for more treatment.
