He was working as surgical technician in [REDACTED] doing a total knee and while he was working surgeon asked for the first injection. He handed the needle to the surgeon and continued setting up the inserts for the TKA while he was working on the mayo stand the surgeon was not paying attention and went to drop the needle off on the mayo stand and stuck him on the medial side of his right ring finger after having used the needle on the patient.
