Was out working on a new road they built in [REDACTED] when the storm first came in. My crew and I were trying to strap a tarp down to protect material from rain when the lightning struck putting out traffic lights and being so close that it put out electrical discharge shocking me and the contractor from the back of the flat bed truck that is metal. At first I just felt adrenaline. I was asked to file a report but thought I was fine not thinking I needed to file a report. Since then Ive had a few side effects surface from it. Mainly chest pain shooting into my arms up my neck and into my back. I did seek medical attention when the chest pain started to occur that same [REDACTED]. The hospital had me on quite a few medications that had me mentally incapacitated. They wanted to hold me for 12 24hrs for monitoring due to my symptoms but I just asked to go home and have family keep an eye on me. As of today [REDACTED] the chest pain increased. I then went back in to be checked and found o
