What happened

I want to report an injury I incurred during my shift on [REDACTED] (department code: 1334250) My patient was admitted due to alcohol withdrawal. During the shift he became aggressive and got out of the bed heading for the door with staggering movement I called for help twice: someone answered the bed call light and I told her I needed help now that he was aggressive and was trying to get out of bed after sometime I called again but no one came and in my attempt to redirect him he pushed me and my hand hit the wall and I heard a crack but I didn 't focus on it because my focus was on my patient and I had a duty to make sure he didn 't fall or wound in the process. He had an IV on him and I was protecting him from falling and the IV from getting pulled. When I was pushed he moved forward and the IV was cut and blood started gushing out. I got to him held him to keep him from falling down (his movement was staggering and he was bumping into things in the room). I managed to successfully
