Working on scanning documents which included transporting folders to the printer and preparing them to scan.

Supervisor reported an observation on [REDACTED] to Safety Unit that employee appeared to be experiencing discomfort while scanning documents. Safety Unit contacted employee who stated he was recovering from an injury outside of work that he experienced in [REDACTED] and does not believe he fully recovered when he returned back to work. He believes that the scanning project may have aggravated his injury on his right hand wrist. Employee immediately placed off of assignment and provided with workers comp packet. Employee went to doctor and came back with work restrictions as well as was taken off work for 1 week.
