Before the incident
At approximately [REDACTED] EE was working on a BrickMold using a nail gun to nail the mold to a door in [REDACTED] He shot a nail into the mold and it ended up inserted into the left index finger Unable to dislodge their finger from the door the paramedics were called from the [REDACTED] area It took them approximately 20 minutes to arrive since they were volunteers The paramedics said that 3 8 of an inch of the nail went into the EEs left index finger and they were able to remove the nail from the finger EE was then given the choice by the paramedics to just go home and see a doctor today or to ride to the [REDACTED] hospital with the ambulance EHS was there at that time and told the EE that it was their choice to ride in the ambulance or that She would take the EE to [REDACTED] to the hospital The EE chose to ride with the ambulance
