The employee was operating a Trackmobile attempting to pull a loaded railcar onto the railyard 's main track.

In order for the Trackmobile operator to pull the loaded railcar to the yard 's main track a rail switch (switch #4) had to be adjusted in a designated direction which allows rail traffic to proceed on the main track. The rail switch was inadvertently adjusted in the wrong direction allowing the Trackmobile to proceed on the back track where 3 empty railcars were staged. As the trackmobile proceeded on the back track it contacted one of the 3 staged railcars.

The employee reported experiencing neck back shoulder and right breast pain along stiffness and posttraumatic stress disorder.

The employee reports being injured after the trackmobile that she was operating contacted the staged railcar on the back rail track.
