While placing a central line the patient became rambunctious and started kicking the central line off of the bed I went to catch the central line kit and a contaminated needle was sticking out and stuck me I immediately washed the site with soap and water and informed the supervisor Gloves head dressing eye protection and mask were all being used at the time
